We arrived to hunt ancestors! As soon as we arrived we could tell this was going to be a great few days. The accommodation is a delight and the welcome from Caroline and Richard, this place felt like home, a sanctuary to come home to everyday. Sunny days, great walks, great food, as you can see we fell in love with SHROPSHIRE!

We had a lovely Easter weekend here, complete with Easter Bunny hunt amongst the daffodils. Lovely peaceful base for exploring Ironbridge museums; Blist’s Hill Victorian Town was particular fun. Still lots more to do so perhaps we will have to come back…

The West Wing Cottage

Here in the Bridgnorth area for a family wedding. The accommodation was perfect for the occasion (Old Nursery & West Wing Cottage). Caroline’s extra touches were perfect~ the best we have experienced in any self-catering establishment and set the tone for what was, for us, a memorable week

We have had a wonderful few days in the cottage. We’ve visited the 10 museums in Ironbridge which were interesting & educational… At night look up at the stars. Living in a town the view at night is not as spectacular as it is here. Thank you for a lovely stay.

What a gorgeous place! We had a fabulous long weekend with friends in the West Wing Cottage just before Christmas and couldn’t have wished for more. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed. Caroline & Richard were very welcoming and the area is full of things to see & do. A great time - thank you!!
